Parental and family involvement is part of the foundation of our College Community. There are a range of opportunities for every family to share and support the educational experience of their child.

The College provides a range of experiences that enrich people's lives beyond the classroom, creating a nurturing and affirming experience for all members of our College community. Being a small school of about 650 students, we have a real "family" feel to the support we offer students.

Our Wellbeing Team including our College Chaplain ensures all members of our community feel supported and valued beyond the classrooms.

The importance of recognizing and encouraging individual ability is highlighted in or enrichment programs. We offer students a chance to explore their strength, learning at their own pace and developing strong skills.

Templestowe College provides students with the ability to extend their horizons beyond the classroom. While the focus on our curriculum is academic, it is aimed to provide a well rounded, balanced education that encourages individual development and exposes students to a broad range of experiences and situations.

The College provided facilities, extension programs and the structured academic curriculum that keeps career options open. From Year 7, students follow a structured, sequential program with a small team of teachers.

Students have an increasing opportunity to specialize in subjects to cater to individual interests, while keeping a full range of options open for VCE level where there is available up to 40 subjects.

Templestowe College has a modern technology centre, which houses extensive and sophisticated resources so that we can offer courses that focus on, robotics, computer-aided design and global communication.

A student's involvement in the Visual and Performing Arts adds another dimension to your child's experiences at Templestowe College. Self expression, through the Arts, encourages students to be "risk takers" in creating and displaying their work.

Outdoor Education, SES/Advance, Camps Program, Sport and Physical Education provides the challenges to build strength of character that our students take into all aspects of their life.

Templestowe College provides students with learning experiences that go beyond the normal classroom program and encourages students to broaden their horizons. Our highly skilled and trained staff uses their extensive experience to inspire young people to use their creativity and imagination to the full.
